EECMY-DASSC 2006 Annual
Planning Workshop
The annual planning Workshop took
place at Gudina Tumsa Multipurpose Training Centere (GTMTC) in Mekanisa, Addis
Ababa, from Dec. 12 to 15, 2005. Main objectives of the
three days Workshop were to prepare operational plan of projects and health
programs, share experience and maintain pertinent information among participants
and ensure complete annual project/program reports of 2005 on time

Graduation at MVTC
Mekanisa Vocational Training Centre (MVTC) is one
of the many educational foundations of EECMY throughout the country. It is now
called the Gudina Tumsa Holistic Training Centre. Since its
establishment in 1986, the centre has educated 237 students and enabled
them to start a professional career. On the 25.11.2005 were 27 candidates, who
graduated in wood and metal work, among them four young women. MTC is financed
in a joint effort by the Kindernothilfe (KNH) and EECMY.

CMCC launches its own
website soon
The Center for Mentally
Challenged Children was formed in

1986 to provide education and
vocational assistance to the needy children. Since its inception, the students
population has grown from 8 to 174. Our Early Care Program offers
physiotherapeutic help for 140 children and counseling for parents. For that
Program we are the only one in Addis Ababa and the whole country Ethiopia.
